据统计显示，水海产品及制品、肉类及制品、乳品成为广受中国消费者欢迎的食品，这三类食品2018年的进口金额分别为122亿美元、111亿美元、107亿美元，在各大类进口食品中排前3位，其进口金额加在一起，占到了进口食品总额的46.1%。
事实上，中国加入世界贸易组织之后，进口关税下调步伐越来越快。自2018年11月1日起，中国降低部分商品国税率，涉及1585个税目，关税总水平由上年的9.8%降至7.5%。其中涉及21个食品税目，平均税率从14.7%降至7.8%，平均降幅为47%。自2019年1月1日起，中国与新西兰、秘鲁、韩国、澳大利亚等8国以及亚太贸易协定国家的协定税率进一步降低，涉及税号几乎覆盖所有进口食品类型。
中国进口食品行业的发展，在满足国内消费需求的同时，也在深入影响着国际食品产业的发展方向。据悉，2018年来自“一带一路”沿线国家（地区）的进口食品金额超220亿美元，占进口总金额的29.91%，同比增长23.1%，成为新的进口食品增长亮点。

Shanghai Global Food Trade Show(FHC) has been held for 25 years successfully by ShanghaiRestaurants Cuisine Association and
Shanghai Sinoexpo Informa MarketsInternational Exhibition Co., Ltd. and co-organized by ChinaChamber of Commerce of I/E of
Food stufs, Native Produce andAnimal By-products (CFNA). Looking back at the exhibition in 2021,there are 16 international
pavilions showcased onsite whichare from Belgium, Denmark, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Canada,the United States, Russia,
Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, SouthAfrica, Brazil, Austria and China Taiwan. Professional visitorsfrom food, hotel, catering, fresh,
cofee, baking, drinks, preparedproducts, bars, clubs, super retail, franchise chain and many otherfelds come to visit and
networking with each other. Allparticipants strictly adhere to the pandemic prevention managementsystem, which has laid a
solid foundation for the tradeexhibition under the new normal dynamics. Furthermore, it alsobrought strong confdence and
power to the sustainable and stabledevelopment of the food and catering industry.
